GNM – General Nursing and Midwifery

GNM course full form is General Nursing and Midwifery, which is a 3-year-long diploma program intended to train students in specific areas of Nursing practices such as rehabilitation, mental health care, maternity care, post-trauma care, etc. It covers foundational subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Community Health Nursing, etc.

The GNM Nursing Admission criteria are based mainly on the merit system, however, some colleges accept exam scores such as CUET. The GNM eligibility criteria for admission are to pass Class 12 in the Science stream with Biology as a mandatory subject from a recognized board.
