BVSc – Bachelor of Veterinary Science

BVSc, full form Bachelor of Veterinary Science, is an undergraduate course of 5 years in the field of veterinary science that aims to impart the knowledge required for nourishment, treatment, and breeding of animals. According to the latest guidelines from the Veterinary Council of India, BVSc course duration is of 5.5 years divided into 10 semesters and 1 year of compulsory internship.

BVSc course is ideal for candidates who consider themselves animal lovers and want to work or own an animal breeding and caring firm and want to establish a career in animal husbandry. There are 47 BVSC colleges in India, most of which requires students to pass NEET exam. Any candidate who has completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, along with English from a recognized board is eligible to apply for BVSc Admission.
